Our many years of R&D are paying off in grand style – BST is proud to announce the GT TEK wheel for the Porsche GT2 RS and GT3 RS models. It conforms with DOTE and smashes all the JWL tests for road and also for track use with full slicks. GT TEK was developed for aftermarket buyers and includes two sizes of light-weight composite wheels. The wheels are designed to optimize the critical characteristics of weight, bending stiffness, rotational inertia and, of course, safety. The GT TEK is the safest, lightest, strongest carbon fiber wheel in the world. The company specialises in the same manufacturing processes used by Formula 1 and NASA. BST uses the highest quality materials and the GT TEK wheels have a distinctive BST aesthetic, design and pattern with beautiful details and finishes. The BST GT TEK front wheel is 20” x 9.5” and weighs 5.885 kg (12.95lbs) and the rear wheel is 21” x 12.5” with a weight of 7.750kg (17.05lbs). This shaves between 40% and 60% off the weight of a regular alloy wheel – OEM or aftermarket. RS owners can order now – the wheels are in production.  BST offers the classic high gloss finish, or a velvet satin finish, or even a color tint though which the carbon weave remains visible.

Gary Turner, the company’s design, engineering and composites wizard, raced in the European Supermono Series in the mid-1990s. Terry Annecke is a business leader who worked with international computer giants IBM and Microsoft. Together they lead engineering and production teams with more than 100 years of accumulated experience in the fields of motorsport, aeronautical and F1 engineering, composites, and high-end wheel manufacturing – industry-leading technical specialists who have won multiple driver’s championships and a slew of industry awards.

BST manufactures carbon fiber automotive wheels in six different styles. Our track record – and track records – are unsurpassed. We’ve built wheels for the Delage – voted the world’s “most beautiful car” in 2020, the Ariel Atom – the world’s fastest track car, the Donkervoort supercar, and the fun and beautiful Vuhl. Most recently, we launched our new aftermarket GT TEK wheel – the world’s first Ultra Lite wheel, clocking in at a scarcely believable 5.885kg at the front and 7.750kg at the back. The GT TEK won the SEMA 2021 award for best new wheel. The BST manufacturing facility is ISO9001:2015 certified and is audited by the TÜV Rheinland. Our wheels and other carbon fiber components are produced in accordance with the standard and this enables full traceability of the materials and processes. Each product has its own Serial Number and history.

The wheels are designed with very specific criteria in mind to ensure maximum performance. These include the weight, bending stiffness, and rotational inertia, and the distinctive BST design. BST engineering ensures that our wheels meet and exceed the internationally recognised safety standards, including the TUV No. 287 30 StVZO and the JWL standard and are compliant with DOT E and ETRTO regulations.
