Through careful testing of the Stock ECU and Aprilia Race ECU calibrations, we were able to find 22
power maps and limiters holding back the otherwise stout 100HP
powerplant. While the Tuono version is rated for 94HP, the final tuned
number will be the same as the RS 660. That means bigger gains for the
Tuono as it's more restricted than the RS 660.
With full in-person datalogging in our closed dyno cell, riding the bike on the street, and GPS speed testing, we were able to find what the engine really liked and disliked. Through careful logging of ignition timing, per cylinder fueling and thermal management limiters, we were able to write an excellent file that is powerful in all temperatures and covers all octanes.
Our Stage 1 Aprilia RS 660 ECU flash converts the bike to full “Alpha-N” fueling and utilizes the factory oxygen sensors for precise fuel corrections on and off throttle. Improvements in throttle response, rideability, cruising and of course, power, were all immediately apparent. 60-130MPH testing found a full second improvement from stock to flashed.
ADVANTAGES WITH STAGE 1
- On average, gains of 4HP peak and 10HP under the curve, over stock and MORE for Tuono. Even though this isn't a ton of peak power, we shaved over a full second off the 60-130.
- 2000 RPM more peak power over stock to carry to redline (see dyno tab)
- Early Fan-On. At 200 degrees, your Aprilia starts to pull power from the engine. We change this to lower temperature to avoid this power loss and stalling in stop and go traffic
- Changes to fueling including part, mid and full-throttle while in Alpha-N configuration per cylinder
- Optimization of ignition timing at part and mid throttle for all fuel qualities
- Blipper up and downshift learning activated
- M-Torque adjustments to torque limiting to allow the bike to make 100% of its available engine torque at high load in every gear
- RPM limiter raised from 11,500RPM to 12,200RPM
- Adjustments to engine braking For road course use
- Changes in factory unstable engine idle for stability and consistency off-throttle
- Changes to a full 100% throttle opening in all modes, versus a limited table
- Gains midrange to redline on all fuel qualities with no loss in power anywhere on the RPM band
- Ability to derestrict the A2 35KW restricted bikes completely to full HP
- Full race fuel remapping which is good for 110WHP with full supporting modifications

MODS: FACTORY STOCK 2026 APRILIA 660 With and Without our BT-MOTO Flash, 5th gear
RED = Stock flash with 93 Pump Gas - 95whp / 49wtq
BLUE = Stage 1 flash with 93 Pump Gas - 101whp / 51wtq
The graph below shows stock vs flashed on 91 pump gas (red and blue runs), same day. This was done in 5th gear to show power differences on the stock 2026 Aprilia 660 with only tuning. The gains on pump gas are seen across the entire RPM range, with an average of 3-5HP and 2-4WTQ.
The blue (tuned) run was also performed with increasing the RPM limiter (optional feature). This widens the powerband, which means more power for longer and less shifting at the track

STOCK VS TUNED 75% THROTTLE RANGE

STOCK VS TUNED 50% THROTTLE RANGE

STOCK VS TUNED 25% THROTTLE RANGE

STOCK VS TUNED SECOND GEAR THROTTLE RESTRICTIONS, YOU CAN SEE THE BIG GAINS IN THE LOWER RPMS OVER STOCK

**All runs performed same day, back to back on an independent DynoJet**
**Testing performed with 93 octane pump gas. Usage of a lower octane will yield smaller power gains. Higher octane larger gains**
THE BT MOTO HANDHELD TUNER
WHAT IS A "FLASH AT HOME" HANDHELD PERFORMANCE TUNER AND WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF HAVING ONE?
Custom tuning at your finger tips on your schedule. Read and write your own motorcycles ecu in the comfort of your home. No longer need to bring your bike to a shop, buying a $1000 hardware kit + time + dyno then paying for time of a technician one time deal. You now have a virtual custom personal tuner at your finger tips. This is a for life purchase with full flexibility to transfer to other motorcycles in the future. Thoroughly tested by our own engineers, not just for its function but also durability.
CAN I JUST SEND IN MY ECU FOR FLASHING AND SPEND LESS? LET'S SEE THE BREAKDOWN.
- NO DOWNTIME - No need to send in your ECU or remove it from your bike at all. You order the handheld, it get's delivered to you nearly instantly, and you flash your bike on your time easily. You never miss a day of riding and no effort removing the ECU. Any issues, you can revert back to the full stock state.
- READ AND CLEAR CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS - Full diagnostic of the ecu including the device.
- STORE MULTIPLE MAPS - When you send in your ECU, you only get one map. You might be thinking, "why would I need more than one map?". Storing multiple maps means you're able to flash for different configurations. If you're a serious track competitor, we can work with you to get you different mapping for different tracks. If, for example, you're add modifications to your stock bike, we can email you a file that takes the new exhaust into account with the changes you need to optimize your bike's new modifications with no mailing needed.
- GO BACK TO STOCK ANYTIME - Not only can you store multiple files, you can also flash the original, stock file back into the bike at any time and for any reason for service, sales, and more.
- ABILITY TO TUNE FUTURE BIKES - Customers swap bikes all the time! With our handheld tuner, you are able to put the first bike back to stock, then reset the device and use the same device on your next bike, with a simple and low cost transfer fee.
- ANY ISSUES? We can resolve nearly anything remotely really quick with our engineering staff.
