The Ducati Monster was and in many ways still is the ultimate naked / muscle bike, and in 2004 the Ducati Monster was basically their best selling machine, having carried Ducati for a decade!

Now in 2004 Ducati released the Ultra Limited Monster 620 Capirex edition to honor Loris Capirossi, who won their first ever Ducati MotoGP Race in 2003 (along with several more in 2004 and 2005, while nearly winning the championship in 2006 before being injured by teammate Sete Gibernau).

Loris's number was 65, so they made 65 of these little Monsters with his signature Marlboro Desmosedici GP red (not standard Ducati red), curved white stripe, green backlit gauges, carbon fiber side covers and fenders, and unique 65 / Capirex stickering.
