Your V4 is a beautiful bike, but Ducati DID use some cheaper cast aluminum parts on it - your Rear Shock Support and Right engine support were two, but here is the last four - the frame side plates!  Replace that ugly cast parts with this Billet one.  They are lighter, stronger, and stiffer so you loose weight and increase feel! The finish is obtained by anodic oxidation, available in 5 colors: Silver, Gold, Red, Blue, and Black. Constructed through the use of CNC machines.
