I am going to be brutally honest, as much as we LOVE Superbikes, the Multistrada 1200 Will ALWAYS turn our heads... As I list this, poor Lyle is sobbing because he cant afford to buy it (so he keeps stealing Randy's GT!)
It's actually pretty light at 509lbs wet with a 5.3 gallon tank and can be an absolute Beast to ride if you want with 160 Hp and 100 Ftlbs of torque, but also has the manners for fun long trips with a few switch pushes (no wonder Lyle drools all over it!)!
It's just as you would get it from the Factory with the Termignoni Slip-on and the addition a Small Soft Tail bag included.
The Owner of this beauty keeps his vehicles practically show room quality, but he definitely uses them. This was his Two-up ride and didn't get as much use so it only has 3239 miles (look at how nice the rear tire is - plenty of life left)!!
Do you know how hard it is to find a Good Quality Multi with low miles like this for such a good price? Practically impossible! - go ahead and Check EBay and Craigslist, we'll wait.. cuz we already did!
Only damage on this pristine example (minus the expected wear and tear) is a small scuff on the RH Brush guard and one on the corresponding upper edge of the RH Side fairing.. (see last two pictures)
The Multistrada 1200 Pikes Peak is modeled after the bike that has won the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb Repeatedly!! (RIP Carlin - we miss you). It is powered by the 1198cc Ducati Testastretta DVT engine which includes the anti-knocking sensor and has the bore and stroke at 106 millimeters and 67.9 millimeters. It has also been equipped with the fully adjustable Öhlins forks and Rear shock while the exhaust system has the Termignoni carbon fiber silencer. The 2016 Ducati Multistrada 1200 Pikes Peak brings you the racing-inspired design red color scheme with a white stripe. Keeping the sport bike easy to manage it utilizes lightweight carbon fiber components such as the low screen, front mudguard, side covers for the air ducts and the Hands Free system cover.
