I bought my first Ducati 999 in 2005, it was a used 2003 base model with about 6500 miles on it. I quickly
doubled that figure, as I absolutely loved riding it around the Las Vegas valley. Fast forward to 2013 and
I've got yet another 2003 Ducati 999 base model!

Of course, calling this a base model would be a travesty. This bike puts down more power than my 2006
Ducati 999R, and even more than my 2007 Ducati 1098!

It's been heavily modified with the following upgrades:
  • Ohlins Forks with upgrades built at Ohlins USA
  • Ohlins DU31 Rear Shock
  • Ohlins Steering Damper
  • ROTOBOX Carbon Fiber Wheels!
  • Superlight 520 conversion kit with racing chain
  • Beringer 100mm Billet Radial Calipers
  • Brembo HP Full Floating Front Rotors
  • Custom Lightened Rear Rotor
  • Braced Swingarm from the 06 Ducati 999R
  • Magnesium Clutch Side Engine Case (lightened)
  • Magnesium Valve Covers
  • Magnesium Headlight Bucket (from 999R)
  • Carbon Fiber Fairing Stays (from 999R)
  • Carbon Fiber Headlight Fairing
  • Carbon Fiber Tail Fairing
  • Carbon Fiber Air Duct Covers
  • Carbon Fiber Front Fender
  • Carbon Fiber Rear Fender
  • Carbon Fiber Belt Covers
  • Carbon Fiber Frame Guards
  • Carbon Fiber Sprocket Cover
  • Carbon Fiber Heel Guards
  • Carbon Fiber Clutch Cover
  • Ducati Performance Carbon Fiber Quick Release
    Gas Cap
  • Billet Rear Ride Height Adjuster
  • STM Crank Case Breather
  • STM Swingarm Spools
  • Domino XM2 Super Soft grips
  • Lightweight Billet Rear Brake Caliper Bracket
  • Custom made Billet Axle Sliders front and rear
  • Lightweight EarthX ETX18B battery
  • Febur performance coolant connections
  • Ducati Perofmance Steering Head Nut
  • FBF Billet Clip Ons
  • Custom Mirrors with built in indicators
  • Ducati Perfomance Slipper Clutch (with Titanium
    mounting hardware)
  • Termignoni 57mm (large) Full Race Exhaust
  • Engine is heavily improved with the
    following:1038cc Big Bore Kit,
    Lightened Internals (flywheel, crank,
    performance bearings, etc...), and
power is ~ 158HP, and 92ft lbs of
    Torque, at the wheel!
  • And a slew of lightweight Titanium bolts and
nuts encompassing the following: Rotor bolts,
Caliper bolts, Axle pinch bolts, Clutch Retainer
and Basket bolts, Fairing and Windscreen bolts,
    engine bolts, and more...
  • And surely a few other awesome godies that I
    can't remember...
These upgrades aren't cheap!
In fact, nearly $30,000 was spent on this amazing machine!

Why did I name her Classico Triplo Nove?

Because this bike is the embodiment of what I believe the original Ducati 999 dreamed of becoming.

This is a bike that would have made Troy Bayliss, Neil Hodgson, Ben Bostrom, and every other Ducati
Racer proud!
