Clean everything!
Shown is a 4 Spring Racing Clutch, but the Directions are the Same for 4 or 6 spring Note the 3 different smaller tension spring sets (Red for racing, Blue for street & Yellow for in between) and the Replacement Green Gasket
Place the Replacement Green Gasket into the grove of the new spacer. Slide the spacer on the Shaft with the large flange side facing you and the gasket side toward the bike
Install the basket, lining it up with the holes for the 8 bolts. Using Red High Strength Loctite (or similar product) Install the 8 bolts, loosely

Use the one that fits your bike. make sure the washer is set so the high middle is facing outward toward you Then reinstall the clutch holding tool Use the Locktite again, and tighten the nut to the proper torque |
At this point, we recommend a new set of clutch plates. See the paragraph below for proper order of the plates. Keep in mind the upper hub will still separate from the lower hub if pulled on!
Install the spring plate with the recesses for the tension springs facing you.

Remove the shift rod and push pin from the old clutch plate and then install them in the new plate. Insert this assembly into the center of the clutch

Insert clutch springs, retainers and new bolts into the clutch and tighten them to spec
Congratulations!!! You did it!
