In motor sports scenes, autoclave carbon parts are used for a short time and there is no need for protective coatings on the carbons surface. But when using these parts on the street, it needs to be able to handle the effects of various ways of long-term usage such as Temperature, Rain, UV Radiation, etc... To cover this disadvantage, many autoclave carbon parts are coated several times and as a result, the coating thickness gets thicker and the parts puts on extra weight, killing the autoclave carbons characteristics.
