November 18th:

The above pictured 1999 Ducati ST4 finds it's way into our hands.
This is what happens when we find a crashed Ducati for only $500!
December 3rd:

Virtually every piece
of this motorcycle has
been removed, and
cleaned.

The frame, has had
multiple (now
unnecessary) tabs
removed in an effort to
clean it up for a bike
devoid of fairings, and
is along with the tank,
receiving a beautiful
and unique custom
paintjob.
December 29th:

The frame and wheels
are finished in Subaru
Impreza Blue, and as
soon as our new shock
arrives we will get
them installed!

The Tank is also back,
but we are not done
with it yet...  ;)
January 25th:

New timing belts were
put on and the valves
were checked, and
then a
SpeedyMoto
Billet Water Pump
Housing mysteriously
found it's way onto our
project bike.
January 28th:

The frame is finally
back on the engine,
along with a new
Bitubo Shock!

Here's a few more

May 2nd, 2011:

Sorry about the long
delay, but it takes a
while to have special
triple clamps
machined by the very
best in the business...

CNC Racing!
May 2nd, 2011:

The headlight unit
shown above is the
New Dynamic version
from Barracuda Moto.

Featured to the right:
an Oberon Clutch
Slave, DucaBike
Rearsets, EK MVXZ 520
Chain, and Driven
Sprockets.
Caution! Aliens have landed!

:)

We did promise to make this
bike unique didn't we?
March 19th, 2012:

Sorry for such a long
delay between updates,
but our customers come
before our own bikes so
progress isn't always fast.
That said:

Samco silicone hoses
and stainless steel
clamps were installed
along with a new
radiator.
March 19th, 2012:

Our custom designed seat
cover from LuiMoto
arrived today!

Perhaps you can spot a
certain theme beginning to
take shape...

;)
March 19th, 2012:

Since Braking Power is
never "overrated", we
installed Beringer's 6
piston axial calipers, and
their Aeronal full floating
rotors.
March 19th, 2012:

Driven Carbon Fiber
Handlebars, White
Spiegler Brake & Clutch
Lines, CNC Racing Triple
Clamps, and a CNC
Racing Steering Head Nut
help hold the front end
together.

Just wait until you see
what we're working on to
hold our custom gauges.
March 19th, 2012:

High performance rotors
and calipers don't mean
much without equally
impressive master
cylinders, so we chose
Beringer's Billet Racing
MC's with built in
reservoirs for a clean look.
March 30th, 2012:

Paintwork is finished and
picked up from our local
air-brusher.

Snoopy as the WW1 Flying
Ace shall keep watch as
my co-pilot for the years to
come.
March 30th, 2012:

Who doesn't love some
good ol' fashioned Jaws
on the side of their
fuselage?

As this is our American
Fighter version of a Ducati
Touring bike, we couldn't
think of anything more
fitting.
March 30th, 2012:

We challenged LUIMOTO
to re-cover our ST4 seat
with some style to match
the rest of this bike build
.

As you can see, they
certainly don't disappoint!

Try not to guess what's
coming next...
March 30th, 2012:

We trimmed down the old
fender/plate mount, and
replaced the old turn
signals with Barracuda's
ULTRA BRIGHT Freccia's
.
March 28th, 2012:

Lyle ripped apart the
wiring harness to adapt it
for all of our newly located
hardware, while removing
anything unnecessary,
and hiding the rest
.
March 26th, 2012:

We fashioned a custom
cut, carbon fiber backing
plate for the gauges
.

For anyone who's inspired
to try something similar,
check out DragonPlate for
help.
March 27th, 2012:

We relocated the ignition
coils to inside of the frame
from their previous
location between the
frame and the side
fairings, as those fairings
just don't exist anymore
.

Using the throttle body
bracket was a great idea
that gives a very clean and
professional look when
finished.
April 2nd, 2012:

She's getting close...

Just a few more minor
details to finish up and she
is ready to ride.
